After many years of hard work and months of anticipation, Power Drives has been awarded a US Patent for the DWS-APU by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. This award is represents the collective effort of the entire organization and further establishes Power Drives as a technological leader in the diesel powered community.
Use of the DWS-APU allows the customer to eliminate idling of their diesel powered equipment; saving fuel, reducing emissions and noise pollution and lowering maintenance costs. To date, over 60 DWS-APU and DWS-120 models are in operation from the Midwest to the Northeast and interest in our product continues to build. We expect this award to be the first of many as we continue development of the diesel warming programs and seek out other opportunities to demonstrate the technical capabilities of Power Drives.
